Cursive script: Choban ju Tomoyoshi bori - Carved by Tomoyoshi of Choshu (Nagato Hagi).
Tomoyoshi was active in the early 1800's and died in 1822.
He trained in the Kyoto Ito school.
Regular script: Sen-in with kakihan - Name of artist painter who did the design
(Traditionally the artist's name follows the Chinese pronounciation - I don't really know why).
