| Dear Jack, Since there is evidently some interest in things Caucasian, especially from native Caucasians, it would be most appropriate to include some imagery of Shamyl, its spiritual leader prior to the conquest by Russia. I attach 3 pictures: The first shows Shamyl on horseback, when he was hale & hearty, the second shows him standing, the litho having been done by the Russian art publisher, Timma, and the third shows him with his two sons some years after the conquest by Russia.
